Day Trips

Alot goes into planning a great motorcycle day trip. Of course, a destination is essential, but most importantly a route best suited to being in the wind needs to be mapped out. Lesser traveled roads are always the preference, but sometimes the wheels will have to roll on some major highways in order to get to that point. Unfortunately, there is no getting around it, so the goal is to keep highway driving to a minimum when possible. Distance plays a factor on several things…what time to leave, how long to stay and what to bring. It is always good to look at the weather forecast a day or so in advance, because the last thing you want to be is unprepared…whether it is for rain or a colder ride on the way back home.

An open road, a motorcycle and the wind…the best way to travel.
